Marcietta “Marci” Deloney
is a Chicago native. Marci learned early that she was meant to make people laugh when she was voted Class Clown in elementary school. She started her career as a comedian in 2002.
In 2004, she shared her gift of comedic writing to the Cultural Arts Ministry for Victory Apostolic Church (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.) as a head writer.
She has created and produced major original shows such as “Churchin” and “Sanctuary Superstar.” Additionally, she is also a talented sketch comedy artist and an author of children’s literature.
Her first time on stage, Marci took first place in the KnockOuts Comedy Competition and then First Runner Up in the finale. She later went on to become a local finalist in the “Funniest Mom in America” national comedy competition in 2005.
